ZOU Vice Chancellor Professor Primrose Kurasha dies
The Vice Chancellor of Zimbabwe Open University Professor Primrose Kurasha died on 17 February 2017 at local a local private hospital. At the time of writing the cause of death could not be verified.
A senior medical doctor who spoke to the Herald said:
Yes, she died around 8pm. Everyone is still in shock. Close family members have been notified, but they have not yet appointed a family spokesperson. Her death is quite sad because we did not expect it.
FeedbackProfessor Kurasha was the first woman university Vice Chancellor in Zimbabwe when she was appointed the Vice-Chancellor of ZOU in 2003.
