Hoodlum stabs 5 people in 30 minutes

Menelisi Msipa  (23) of Bulawayo appeared in court facing charges of attempted murder, robbery and assault. The magistrate did not ask Msipa to plead and remanded him in custody to the 28th of February for trial.

Msipi is accused of stabbing 5 people in a 30-minute rampage, on the  11th of  February 2017. He allegedly stabbed Tichaona Masiriri on the upper lip and robbed him of a mobile phone and $7. Simbarashe Sibanda who rushed to the rescue of Masiriri after witnessing the attack was stabbed above the eye, leaving his left eye protruding.

Baret Sibanda who was also nearby saw the attack and tried to help Simbarashe. He was stabbed on the hand and in the head. After the three attacks, Misipi fled.

He proceeded to Engen garage, where he stabbed Rashid Polongani once on the back before robbing him of $60 and a Samsung S7 mobile phone. Maphios Hama who was nearby tried to assist Polongani and was stabbed on the back also.

Hama and Sibanda are rported to be in critical condition.
