“We don’t Islam in Zim” says MDC-T MP

During a question and answer session in Parliament today, National Assembly Member for Harare Central, Mr Murisi Zwizwai (MDC-T) shouted “asi hatidi chiMoslem muno”.

This comes amid accusations that the new curriculum gives priority to Islam than other religions. In the past Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Lazarus Dokora has been accused of banning Scripture Unions in schools as well as being Moslem and advancing the religion.

However in his defence today, Dokora said that religion is not innovation of the new curriculum, it has always been there in the curriculum.

  1. No To Islam. We are Christians and we worship a true and Living God through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. This Minister is an agent of the devil who just want to destroy our children and our future. We have tolerated the devil for far too long and it is now time for all true Christians in Zimbabwe to stand up to this vehicle of evil. He has destroyed our education and he is destroying our future. We need to protect our children from worshiping devils through angel of satan called Minister of Education. We pray that all the plans of the devil are defeated in Jesus Mighty Name.
