Carl Joshua Ncube to host NAMA Awards

Award winning stand-up comedian, Carl Joshua Ncube, will host this year`s National Art Merit Awards (NAMA) which will run under theme, Partners with the Arts.

The awards, organized by the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ) will be held on February 18 at 7 Arts Theatre in Harare. Speaking to NewZimbabwe.com on this year`s theme, NACZ Communications and Marketing Officer Cathrine Mthombeni, said:

It is aimed at challenging and encouraging the growth of the symbiotic relationship between the Arts and the Corporate Sector. While acknowledging that great strides have been taken in this direction the theme is a call to Corporates to invest in Arts by exploring, exposing and sharing possibilities in partnership within the creative sector, even the NAMA brand in particular.
