Jabulani Sibanda speaks on "silence"

Speaking to The Financial Gazette, former Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association (ZNLWVA) leader, Jabulani Sibanda said that he is working on something and is still active politically.

Sibanda was expelled from the war veterans’ organisation and Zanu PF in 2014 for being disrespectful to the First Family. He was arrested and appeared before the courts, where the matter is still pending. In the past, he has been linked to former vice president Joice Mujuru’s Zimbabwe People First (ZPF) but ZPF insiders say the politician does not seem to be part of the party anymore. There has been speculation that he might rejoin ZANU-PF. Said Sibanda:

My silence is louder. That alone speaks volumes. Jabulani Sibanda speaks in silence. I am still active (in politics).

Pressed to indicate where his heart lies given the political see-saw at play in Zimbabwe, he said he would rather keep his cards close to the chest.
