Manyuchi wins Sportsperson of the Year at Annual National Sports Awards (ANSA)

Charles Manyuchi won the ultimate honour at the Annual National Sports Awards (ANSA) on Friday night.  He was named the Sportsperson of the year after he had another successful boxing year.  he ANSA awards are an annual event meant to celebrate achievements of Zimbabwean athletes.  Micheen Thornycroft won the sportswoman of the year. Thornycroft is a rower.

• Junior Sportsman of  the Year – Beven Sibanda (Karate)
• Junior Sportswoman of  the Year – Danielle Bekker (Golf )
• Junior Sportsman with a disability – Shepherd Patrick
• Junior Sportswoman with a disability – Moment Bhebhe
• Sportsman with a disability – Munyaradzi Musariri
• Sportswoman with a disability – Margaret Bangajena
• Coach of the year – Rachel Davies
• Technical official of the year – Lucky MLilo
• Development Award – Rowing Association of Zim
• Sports Administration – Zim Karate Union
• Women in Sport – Kirsty Coventry
