Mujuru accuses Mugabe of selling out the ideals of the 2nd Chimurenga , and turning the country into a nation of beggars
Former Vice-President and Zimbabwe People First (ZimPF) leader, Joice Mujuru has accused President Robert Mugabe of turning Zimbabwe into a nation of beggars and of having betrayed the “liberation war ethos.” Mujuru said Mugabe had sold out the ideals that had driven many people to join the Second Chimurenga to fight colonialism. She also added that Mugabe had turned into an oppressor of his own people.
Casmpaigning in Bikita West, Mujuru said:
At independence, we thought we had removed oppression, which was mainly white rule. But now Mugabe has turned into the face of black oppression. He has disregarded the liberation war ethos
