Kariba pastor and activist, Patrick Mugadza, who was arrested on Monday and charged with undermining President Robert Mugabe’s authority for “predicting” that the 92-year-old Zanu PF leader would die this year, is set to appear in court today.
Speaking to NewsDay, his lawyer, Gift Mtisi, said the cleric remained in police custody and was to appear in court today. On Sunday, Zanu PF political commissar, Saviour Kasukuwere warned pastors prophesying Mugabe’s death, warning of unspecified action.
