Linda Masarira accused of deliberately lying about being attacked to cover up for abuse by boyfriend & fellow activist

Khuluma Afrika journalist Maynard Manyowa has accused political activist, Linda Masarira of deliberately lying about the source of her injuries on social media, as well as the potential disappearance of Zinasu Secretary General Makomborero Haruzivishe. Masarira blamed state security agents for her injuries and claimed that she had been attacked by 6 men.

Manyowa writes that informants very close to Linda, and the missing Zinasu Secretary General have told him that Linda (34) is in a secret romantic relationship with Makomborero (24), who is a decade her junior. He also alleges that on the 13th, Makomborero was involved in a nasty confrontation with Masarira, which resulted in Linda being beaten. Documents seen by Khuluma Afrika categorically confirm that she deliberately lied about the attack at the hands of six men, and may know more about the whereabouts of Makomborero.

Pride Mkono, a fellow activist, took to Facebook to address the disappearance of Makomboreroro and urged Masarira to report the issue to the police as she is believed to be the last person to see Haruzivishe.
