Zim facing shortage of critical drugs as stocks will only last until end of January unless RBZ releases funds

The Zimbabwe Medical Association (ZiMA) has revealed that the country is facing a dire shortage of drugs.  The current stocks of some drugs are enough to cover the rest of January only.  ZiMA revealed that the drugs at critical levels are Insulin, Anesthetic and Psychiatric drugs.  The only way this can be averted is if the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe releases the funds for foreign payments without delay.

The situation is so bad that ZiMA took to social media to highlight this plight.  Here is the tweet they sent
