Matebeleland South to host Mugabe's birthday celebrations & Zanu PF people's conference
Addressing the joint Zanu PF provincial coordinating committee meeting and the provincial development committee meeting, Umzingwane National Assembly member William Dewa, who stood in for the party provincial chairman Rabelang Choeni revealed that Matebeleland South has been given the task to host the 21st February Movement with the Matopo National Park named as the venue for this year’s celebrations.
He also said Matopo district is the venue for the event and all sub-committees have since been activated to ensure that logistics are attended to although the exact venue at Matopo National Park is yet to be identified. Dewa further stated that Matabeleland South province will also host the Zanu PF National People’s Conference in December this year.
