Speaking to Star FM news, Zimbabwe Republic Police national spokesperson Chief Superintendent Paul Nyathi warned members of the public particularly women against visiting the alleged prophets in isolated places for healing sessions.
Nyathi’s comments follow the arrest of a Harare pastor from The Grace Ministries Mr Onbet Mapfumo who is alleged to have sexually abused three women from his ministry under the guise healing. Mr Mapfumo was yesterday granted $100 bail by Harare magistrate Rumbidzai Mugwagwa pending further investigations and is expected back in court on 2 February 2017.
