Innocent Dube (23) of Chivi, finally got his revenge over a bully from primary school by stabbing him to death. Dube stabbed Simbarashe Dziva to death after meeting him at Ganyani business centre in Shurugwi.
Mr Winterton Muvembi who witnessed the crime spoke to the Chronicle saying:
The two had an argument and we initially thought it was about money.
The enraged Dube hurled insults at Dziva threatening to kill him. He said Dziva and some of his family members had bullied him when he was in Grade Six. He said he was going to fix Dziva for beating him in a fight.
After realising that Dziva was seriously injured, I attempted to render first aid together with other shocked patrons. He however, asked me to let him go outside as he did not want to die inside the building
Dube fled after the crime and is on the run.
