Posted by Maveriq

Welshman Ncube, leader of opposition party MDC-Ncube, has urged fellow opposition parties to participate in the 2018 Elections.  Some opposition groups have been mulling boycotting the elections unless there are significant Electoral reforms. However, Ncube said they should participate either way.  Whether the reforms are implemented or not.

Addressing the press in Harare, Ncube said:

I think it will be a betrayal of the people to walk away from the elections  …we must be prepared to fight against all odds.

The mood in the opposition parties is that we should continue fighting for the reforms but we should take part. We should not deny the people the opportunity to fight through democratic means.
