Mahofa avoids eating food at Zanu PF conference in fear of being poisoned

Masvingo Provincial Affairs minister, Shuvai Ben Mahofa avoided eating food served at the just-ended Zanu PF conference in Masvingo following last year’s food poisoning incident which saw her seeking treatment in South Africa.

However, close family members dismissed the food poisoning rumours as false, saying she had a chronic heart and kidney problem. NewsDay reports that at this year’s conference Mahofa was often seen driving home each time food was being served in the VVIP tent.
