ZimPF says Mnangagwa should be charged with crimes against humanity at the ICC for his role in Gukurahundi

Former Vice President Joyce Mujuru‘s Zimbabwe  People First Party (ZimPF) have said that Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa should be taken to the International Criminal Court.  ZimPF wants Mnangagwa to be charged with crimes against humanity for allegedly inciting the Gukurahundi massacres in Matabeleland.

ZimPF spokesperson Jealousy Mawarire said:

Just like Leon Mugesera in Rwanda, Mnangagwa incited the genocidal killings in Matabeleland and Midlands provinces, but while Mugesera is serving a prison life sentence, this British publication wants to present Mnangagwa as presidential material. Mnangagwa belongs to Chikurubi or some such place like The Hague-headquartered ICC could have confined him to if all things were equal.

This comes after Mnangagwa denied any active role in the Gukurahundi Massacres.
