Zimbabwean in UK starts petition against Nick Mangwana following his comments on Evan Mawarire & Sten Zvorwadza

A Zimbabwean residing in the United Kingdom, Farai Maforimbo, has started a petition against Nick Mangwana following his comments against Evan Mawarire and Sten Zvorwadza at the Zanu PF people’s conference held in Masvingo over the weekend. The petition will be delivered to the British Government and Home Office and the London Metropolitan police.

At the conference Mangwana suggested that Zimbabweans in the diaspora should only be made to continue to contribute to the Zimbabwean economy through sending funds back home but should not be allowed to vote. He also goes on to suggest that the diaspora community is the breeding ground for activism against the Zimbabwean government and mentions Zvorwadza and Pastor Mawarire as examples.

You can sign the petition by clicking here.
