Zim Youth council expresses ignorance over 100 000L fuel from Jonathan Moyo

The Zimbabwe Youth Council (ZYC) officials have expressed ignorance over the 100 000 litres of fuels allegedly released to them by Professor Jonathan Moyo.  The fuel was rereleased from Zimdef, under the orders of Jonathan Moyo, who is the Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education.  This adds another dimension to the wrangle between the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission(ZACC) and Jonathan Moyo.

Moyo is being accused of misusing Zimdef funds.  He is arguing that he used the money State and party functions.  ZYC’s acting executive director Sungano Chisina and acting Finance director Tonderai Motsi distanced themselves from the donation.

Chisina said:

I know nothing about the fuel. Yes, I’m also the deputy operations director but I have no information about the fuel.

The  ZYC  appears to be throwing their Executive director Livingstone Dzikira under the bus, as he is the one who allegedly refused the fuel.
