MDC-T activist claims party youths want to kill him for challenging Tsvangirai, claims he is hiding at western embassy

Partson Muringa, an MDC-T member has claimed that he is in hiding at an unnamed Western Embassy as he fears for his life.  Muringa said that the MDC-T youths want to kill him for challenging Morgan Tsvangirai.  He did this when he challenged Tsvangirai’s power to appoint vice-presidents at the High Court.  Tsvangirai had appointed Nelson Chamisa and Elias Mudzuri, meaning that he now has 3 vice-presidents including Thokozani Khupe.

Speaking to New Zimbabwe on Monday, Muringa said:

I left my Chitungwiza home in August soon after challenging President Tsvangirai and I was forced into hiding by Happymore Chidziva (MDC-T youth leader) after he had written a statement and posted it on social media instructing MDC-T supporters to ‘deal’ with me.

…As if that was not enough, Chidziva also instructed Chitungwiza MDC-T youth provincial chair, Jabulani Mutunzi to kill me and I reported these threats to Harare Central Police before I sought refuge at a local embassy where I am staying.

Chidziva  refuted the allegations saying:

Murimoga is looking for money from embassies where he claims to be hiding at,” said Chidziva.

No one ever threatened him when he was used to file his court application which decision is, however, his democratic right to practice
