A Bulawayo service station Toshoile Fuels, has been taken to court for allegedly selling contaminated fuel. Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (Zera) filed charges against Toshoile Fuels. The service station is also being accused of defying a directive from ZERA to stop using the same fuel tanks until the matter is concluded in court.
Tichaona Ruzvidzo who was representing Toshoile Fuels, pleaded guilty to violating ZERA regulations. Magistrate Batanai Tuwe remanded him to 21 December for sentencing.
