Zhuwao claims that he is receiving death threats after criticising Mnangagwa

President Robert Mugabe’s nephew Patrick Zhuwao claims that he has been receiving death threats. This comes after Zhuwao launched a scathing attack on Vice President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa.    Zhuwao is alleged to be part of the G40 faction which is rabidly opposed to Mnangagwa taking over from President Mugabe.  Zhuwao said after receiving the death threats from people linked to Mnangagwa, he reported the matter to the police, under case number RRB 120763.

Self-proclaimed Mnangagwa loyalist, Frank Onismo Ziyambi allegedly said on facebook:

Even in the Bible, the twelve disciples one day woke up Jesu Christu asisipo wani (and found Jesus Christ gone) . . . Zhuwao go and ask for forgiveness kuna 1st VP Cde Mnangagwa and war veterans. If you don’t I will kill you. Do the right thing now, it is never too late. Apologise today.
