Advocate Fadzayi Mahere and her companions who were arrested while sitting in Africa Unity Square had all charges against them dropped. The court ruled that the arrest was illegal as there was no reasonable suspicion of a crime taking place.

Happy to report that our arrest and detention for sitting in a park were declared illegal by the Criminal Court which also found that no reasonable suspicion exists that any offence was committed. Charges dropped in S v F Mahere & Others. Free at last…Onwards and upwards! What a royal waste of time. #thisflag
