Banks still fleecing customers despite RBZ order to slash fees to 1%

The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe ordered banks to slash their fees to 1 percent of the amount being withdrawn.  However, some banks are defying the RBZ directive and continue to levy high charges.

So far we have identified Barclays Bank, which  charged $10,05  for a withdrawal of $111.00.  In this case, the customer is supposed to have paid $1,10 in charges and was prejudiced of $8, 95.
