Zimbabwe Microfinance Fund disburses $15.4 mln in 9 months

THE Zimbabwe Microfinance Fund (ZMF) has disbursed $15,4 million in nthe nine months  from January to September this year.  This money was used for on-lending.  ZMF is targeting a total disbursement of $18 million for the whole year.

ZMF was established in 2012  to rejuvenate the Micro Finance Institutions (MFI).  It provides on-lending funding to MFIs across Zimbabwe.  This year, 24 MFIs benefited from ZMF compared to last year’s 16.
