Yvonne Musarurwa and accused in murder of ZRP Inspector Mutedzi sentenced by Justice Chinembiri Bhunu to 20 years

Yvonne Musarurwa,  Tungamirai Madzokere  and Last Maengahama  were sentenced to 20 years in jail each while Phineas Nhatarikwa was given a three year wholly suspended sentence on condition he is not an accessory for any offence in the next five years.  He was also fined $500,  or he has to serve a 3 month service.

Yvonne Musarurwa (29), Tungamirai Madzokere aged (41),  and Last Maengahama aged (40)  were found guilty of murder with actual intent of  a Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) Inspector Petros Mutedzi on Monday 6 September 2016.  Phineas Nhatarikwa aged 50 was convicted for being an accessory to the crime.
