Masvingo residents under curfew ahead of Zanu PF conference

The Zanu PF annual conference which is set to start tomorrow is causing problems for Masvingo residents.  In an effort to prevent disturbances from rival factions and demonstrations state security agents have implemented stringent measures.

Residents are reportedly not being allowed to move around in large groups or to move after certain times. A resident is quoted by Newsday as saying:

We have been condemned to a curfew by the security details. They just harass us if they see us in groups.
