High Court Judge  Justice Charles Hungwe has stopped the interviews to select the next Supreme Court Chief Justice.  The interviews were scheduled for tomorrow. He granted the interdict that was sought by Romeo Taombera Zibani.  Zibani is a fourth-year law student at the University of Zimbabwe.

Justice Hungwe did not give reasons for the interdict.  He said he will reveal the reasons tomorrow.  This effectively delays any appeal.
