Matebeleland provinces get the least amount of BEAM funds

Bulawayo Metropolitan Province and the two Matabeleland provinces have received the least amount of BEAM funding, from the country’s ten provinces.  BEAM is  the government-administered Basic Education Assistance Module (BEAM) which pays  fees for Ordinary and Advanced Level students.  Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare deputy minister Tapiwa Matangaidze revealed this in a report presented to Parliament last week.
