Best-seller writer, Paula Hawkins, whose book has sold more than 16 million copies, was in Harare this weekend. She was a guest of a book reading event where her book and “Rotten Row” written by Petina Gappah were read.
First, globally renowned Zimbabwean actress, Chipo Chung, read Hawkins’ Girl of the Train on stage. Then next, a group of local actors including Rutendo Tapiwa and Michael Kudakwashe, read Rotten Row. Paula Hawkins and Petina Gappah then took to the stage to and talked about their books and book writing. The audience also had an opportunity to ask questions.
