The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (Zetdc) is suing Buhera South MP Joseph Chinotimba’s son, Edwin, who owns Chehoza Farm in Daisyhill Neighbourhood, Chipinge, over a $11 143, 08 in unpaid electricity bills.
The electricity company in summons filed at the High Court on October 26 this year under case number HC10881/16, is accusing the legislator’s son of failing to pay the bill that has since risen to $11 143, 08. Edwin has since entered an appearance to defend notice.
