Govt builds Highfield high school in honour of Mugabe

Government built Mbizi Secondary School, in Highfield in honour of President Robert Mugabe. The school will begin its first enrolment in January next year. President Mugabe attended Mbizi Primary School.

In a speech read on his behalf by his deputy Professor Paul Mavhima on Tuesday, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Dr Lazarus Dokora revealed that the school was built using resources from the Government of Zimbabwe under the Public Sector Investment Programme. He also challenged parents to assist by further developing the school and updated parents on the new new curriculum which he said will be underpinned by the philosophy of Unhu/Ubuntu.
