The application for bail pending appeal hearing for former Bikita West MP Munyaradzi Kereke has been postponed to Tuesday. This is after High Court Judge Justice Tawanda Chitapi recused himself from the case for professional reasons. Justice Chitapi cited that he was once Kereke’s legal counsel, and interacted with Kereke several times in different capacities. The hearing will now be handled by Justice Owen Tagu.
