Magaya speaks on "anointed" cucumbers

Speaking to HMetro on Sunday, Prophetic Healing and Deliverance founder and leader, Walter Magaya, dismissed rumours that he sold cucumbers to his followers and said that he gave them for free.

Magaya told the publication that the cucumbers were part of the produce from his farm and said that he did not expect his gesture to garner such attention on social media. Said Magaya:

When I look at my ministry workers and members, I see them as fertile soil where I can reap best yields if and when I plant them. This is exactly what happened. I gave them cucumbers and cabbages for free. I want to be a successful farmer so giving is what I learnt from holy scriptures and I feel more blessed when I give my ministry workers. The cucumbers are sold at the farm for less than a dollar if you visit there, and they were just cucumbers not anointed as alleged.
