Askeland Media apologises to RBZ for spelling mistakes that appeared on bill board advertisements for bond notes

Aske Media and Advertising has apologised to the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe and its governor, Dr John Mangudya, for the spelling mistakes that appeared on bill board advertisements.

The RBZ was criticised on social media for the mistakes which included a wrong spelling for remittance (remitances) and separate (seperate). Government reportedly paid $3 million to have the billboard advertisement.

In the apology Aske Media said that the RBZ had nothing to do with the spelling mistakes that appeared on the bill boards. Below is their apology:

Askeland Media & Advertising would like to apologise unreservedly to the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe Governor, Dr John Mangudya and The Central Bank for the embarrassing spelling mistakes that appeared on billboard advertisements erected in Harare last week.
The errors had nothing to do with the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe and we sincerely regret any harm this might have caused to the reputation of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe.
The errors have been duly corrected.
