Mushore demands $70k salaries & benefits money from Harare City Council

James Mushore, who was controversially appointed Harare town clerk in March this year and subsequently sent on forced leave after the government contested his appointment procedure, is demanding abou US $70 000 in salaries and benefits from the city council.

Mushore wrote to the city council through his lawyers demanding that his salaries and benefits be paid.

Harare Mayor Councillor Bernard Manyenyeni however said they could take any action on his demand as there were pending issues at the High Court concerning his employment.
