Highlanders Football Club have appointed their secretary general Emmett Ndlovu as the acting Chief Executive Office to replace Ndumiso Gumede who was suspended by ZIFA President Phillip Chiyangwa alongside the club chairman Peter Dube.
Acting Highlanders chairman Modern Ngwenya addressed journalists about the new appointment saying:
I would like to introduce Ndlovu who will be assuming the role of CEO. He is not acting CEO but we met as executive and board and decided that their roles are similar.
