Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education Jonathan Moyo has come out in support of Zanu PF Mashonaland Central’s right to make its own resolutions after the province had come under severe criticism. Mash Central was being attacked for challenging the one centre of power principle.
Moyo took to social media site, Twitter to defend Mashonaland Central and was involved in a brief debate with Zimbabwe Liberation War Collaborators Association (Ziliwaco) chairman Cde Pupurai Togarepi.
Here are some of the tweets:

2/5 What authority do Chinomona & Togarepi have to attack a Zanu PF province exercising its constitutional right?https://t.co/Y8vRJJb6id

3/5 Sadly #Herald is vilifying a Party province for making a resolution that's against paper's factional interest!https://t.co/Y8vRJJb6id

4/5 The case for electing VPs is compelling given that successionists have taken a VP appointment as an anointment!https://t.co/Y8vRJJb6id

5/5 Amending Constitution in 2014 because of Mujuru Cabal was a mistake. Case for Female VP & elected VPs is strong!https://t.co/Y8vRJJb6id

But your opinion Cde is strange as it singles out one province when the fact is that all provinces have made resolutions. Why Mash Central? https://t.co/ABWtiRkWNU

your opinion is a response to the Mash Central resolution. Why respond in the #Herald? Why not wait for the Conference? pic.twitter.com/ychKumDN5l

But Cde you're quoted as responding to Mash Central's resolution in what the #Herald claims is a backlash against the province's resolution! https://t.co/QAeNHfYPT7

I responded to a question but I will not attack our province. I never referred to Mash C but to us/we.
