Moyo, Mliswa “gay gangster” case to be heard on Friday

Higher Education Minister Professor Jonathan Moyo‘s “gay defamation” lawsuit against Norton legislator, Temba Mliswa is set to be heard this Friday.

Moyo is claiming $20 million compensation for a story published by The Daily News sometime in October 2014 under the headline “Gays hijack Zanu PF” claiming that the article was wrongful and intended to injure his reputation.

The matter is set to be heard before High Court Judge President George Chiweshe. In his response to Moyo’s claim, Mliswa filed an exception to the summons, arguing it did give any reason for legal action.
