Temba Mliswa said that he is angry with MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai after his failure to attend the “Thank you rally” for Norton people who voted for him in the recent by-election.
He also said that he felt betrayed by Tsvangirai who could have at least sent one of his deputies to represent him at the rally. Speaking to journalists during a press conference in Harare, Mliswa said,
I am still angry with Tsvangirai because he failed to turn up for my event in Norton after having promised to be present on the day. The Saturday incident is very painful. I am only human and it hurts that those people whom you look up to and trust can betray you. We must be sincere if we are to be progressive. I like Tsvangirai and do respect him. I talk to him and he personally told me 19th was the day but, it is so unfortunate he had to go for chemotherapy. I did say “go to hell.” I could not find any better word but, only believe Tsvangirai is insensitive and unfair. Truly I am disappointed with him.
