ZACC says it's not ready to expose journo who received $9 000 from looted Zimdef funds as they 'feel sorry from him'

Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) investigations committee chairperson, Goodson Nguni, said they were not yet ready to expose the journalist who received $9 000 from looted Zimbabwe Manpower Development Fund (Zimdef) funds as they feel sorry for him.

Nguni said that the journalist continues to be used by the people who paid him. In October Nguni said a cash payment of $50 000 went to journalists in Bulawayo where some female journalists had their rentals paid for from the fund.

He only mentioned former Chronicle Editor Mduduzi Mathuthu who is now based in Namibia, whom he said was paid $ 2, 500 two days before Moyo donated bicycles in Tsholotsho. But Mathuthu has since denied the claims.
