Firebrand Zanu-PF Youth Leader Kudzai Chipanga  has accused senior party officials of fanning and sponsoring factionalism.  Chipanga said  there was no discord at lower levels and that issues only started when it came to senior officials, before urging the party leaders to unite in order to avoid losing the 2018 elections.

Speaking at a provincial inter-district conference meeting in Mutare at the weekend Chipanga said:

We have no problems in districts but our problems start here at the high table, down there you don’t know where these divisions are coming from, so we are urging everyone to end this and win the elections in 2018.
