Command Agriculture farmers complain about slow delivery of inputs & inaccessibility of forms

Farmers who registered for Government’s Command Agriculture initiative have complained about the slow rate of inputs deliveries and inaccessibility of forms required for acquiring the materials.

Some of the farmers are appealing for assistance for tillage while some complain that they had to use their own resources to prepare the land. A ground inspection by ZBC revealed that those who are doing irrigated crops did not receive the lime to correct the acidity or alkalinity of their soils, and pre-planting herbicides and anti-fungicides as well as pre-planting materials. This might affect the harvest.
