Local Government Minister Saviour Kasukuwere has accused State media of being used by a faction of Zanu PF which produced a controversial secret dossier dubbed Blue Ocean Strategy.
In a $7 million defamation lawsuit filed against Zimpapers the local government minster accuses The Herald and Sunday Mail of writing lies about him in a bid to advance the political fortunes of the authors of the Blue Ocean Strategy. Kasukuwere lists a number of articles that he says are defamatory and paint a false image of him.
The respondents in the case, Zimpapers and its reporters are yet to enter an appearance to defend notice.
