Small to Medium Enterprises minister Sithembiso Nyoni and former Presidential Affairs minister Didymus Mutasa have been taken to court over debts.
Nyoni allegedly owes Zimbabwe Farmers’ Development Company (ZFDC) $81 900 for dump trucks acquired in 2008, but were not fully paid for. Mutasa, now a leading member of the opposition ZimPF, allegedly owes Zimbabwe Leaf Tobacco Company (ZLTC) $81 137,08. Both companies have separately approached the courts to recover the debts.
Mutasa’s case is set to be heard tomorrow in the motion court before High Court judge, Justice Amie Tsanga, while Nyoni is yet to enter an appearance to defend notice.
