Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals Chief Executive, Thomas Zigora, has accused Harare City Council (HCC) of lying after the council claimed that Parirenyatwa was receiving constant supply of municipal water. HCC spokesperson, Michael Chideme, told the Daily News that health institutions were receiving “enough water.”
However, this was disputed by Zigora who said
Do they have a different line running to Parirenyatwa from their pump station? If not, how can we be separated from the generality of city residents complaining of water? Why would we be building a 2, 5 mega litre reservoir if there is no problem with city council water…. We use close to two million litres of water a day. What good is the one bowser with 10 000 litres to us? Why would they make us that offer if it’s an internal matter?
