Speaking at an event hosted by the Universal Periodic Review today, Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa said that Government is working with Itai Dzamara‘s family to look into his disappearance.

Mnangagwa’s revelation conflicts that of Itai’s brother Patson Dzamara who has been saying Government and the Zimbabwe Republic Police have been doing nothing to resolve the issue of the activist’s disappearance.
