Mighty Warriors’ preparation for AFCON in shambles

The 2016 Africa Women Cup of Nations finals are scheduled to start on the 19th of November in Cameroon, yet the Mighty Warriors are idle and  still to come into camp.  Even worse, they have not yet been advised of when they can go into camp.

Despite being one of only two African teams at the 2016 Rio Olympics, the Mighty Warriors seem to be getting the short end of the straw, something which has been lamented by their coach Shadreck Mlauzi. The only silver lining is that a Fundraising Committee which was setup by the Ministry of Sports and Recreation, is holding a fund raising dinner at the Rainbow Towers this evening.
