FC Platinum book their place in Chibuku Super Cup final as police arrest fan
FC Platinum booked their place in the Chibuku Super Cup final with a 3-0 victory over Harare City at Mandava Stadium this afternoon.
There was drama in the 30th minute when play stopped briefly with Harare City head coach Moses Chunga furious after a number of their balls were being deflated by FC Platinum fans. FC Platinum took the lead minutes later with Rodwell Chinyengetere controlling well before scoring.
In the 38th minute play was stopped again this time for a longer period as Harare City complained again with all their balls now deflated. The stoppage saw police manage to arrest the culprit a FC Platinum female fan. Halftime came with FC Platinum still leading 1-0.
In the 78th minute substitute Charles Sibanda added a second when the punished the Harare City defence after they failed to deal with a long ball. Four minutes later Marshall Mudehwe beat the offside trap and set himself through on goal before beating Dube to score the third.
