United Bulawayo Hospitals have suspended all surgical operations operations due to a countrywide shortage of the drug Pethidine. According to a memo that is addressed to all surgeons, surgical hospital medical officer, theater users chairperson and the principal officer; the cancellation is immediate and indefinite.
