Parly Speaker accuses Chinese and Indian business people of not banking their money

On Tuesday Speaker of Parliament, Jacob Mudenda, challenged the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) to take on Chinese and Indian business people that are violating local banking laws and depriving the system of cash.

While addressing parliamentarians during a pre-budget seminar in Harare, Mudenda said,

Let us address these Indians! Indians! Indians! They are not banking their money. Why not talk to them? The Chinese! Why are we not talking to them? Let us talk to them under general public statement.

He also added that apart from engaging these business people they should also assure them that they will get their money when they need it,

When they bank, assure them that when they want their money they can get their money. Confidence is important.
